Prior to founding Red Oak, I was a Portfolio Manager with Imperial Capital, a mid-market private equity firm investing across the US and Canada.  I worked on a number of transactions including the acquisition of a security alarm company, the acquisition of a food testing lab, and the sale of a medical back-office services business. I also worked on numerous projects at our portfolio companies, among them planning growth into new markets, optimizing pricing and marketing, and improving route-based and back-office operations.

Before Imperial, I was a consultant with Satov, a corporate strategy and operations consulting firm headquartered in Toronto. At Satov I worked on a wide range of projects including strategic planning, pricing and marketing optimization, product assortment optimization, and operational improvement. My clients spanned healthcare, retail, telecoms, banking, insurance, and a range of niche businesses.

I have an MBA from INSEAD, and an iBBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
